Since my residency I worked at an under-served community mental health center in rural Iowa practicing and pioneering Telepsychiatry well over a decade, and way before Telemedicine became wildly popular and mainstream post-COVID.
Dr. Dasari's strengths are directly related to the rigorous training at KU Psychiatric Residency program consolidated by an extensive experience, as a Telepsychiatrist, in managing the whole gamut of psychiatric disorders across all age groups. He was able to provide high quality of care being the only Psychiatrist at multiple rural satellite clinics by efficiently lowering costs and limiting other hurdles like transportation for the population, making it one of the most professionally gratifying experience by giving back to the patients and the community.
