Nurse Practitioner Chris Wier has been caring for patients at the Lawson Clinic since December of 2014. With a strong belief that healthcare provides an avenue to serve others in the community and anywhere in the world, Chris has a great devotion for improving peoples lives.

With little previous medical experience, Chris took a leap of faith and started his medical journey as a Certified Nursing Assistant. He graduated from Metropolitan Community College with an Associate's Degree before entering Nursing school. He received his Bachelors in Nursing with a Minor in Biology from Missouri Western State University and continues his training by completing his graduate studies at the University of Central Missouri where he received his Masters Degree and became a Family Nurse Practitioner. In 2014, he completed more training and became a certified Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Examiner. After a long journey and a strong motivation to help people, Chris provides care with a combination of integrity, compassion and truthfulness.

Chris lives in Lawson with his wife and five children, and enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing volleyball in his spare time.
