This program is to expand the participant's knowledge of select topics unique to the care of patients with time critical illness or injury, and to improve clinical outcomes by applying current evidence based practice to the delivery of care to these patients.
Following the offering, the participant will be able to:
- Identify the assessment and treatment of patients with sepsis.
- Discuss initial assessment and treatment of acute abdominal illness in pediatric patients.
- Describe the treatment and management of stroke patients.
- Discuss the initial assessment and treatments of the orthopedic trauma patient.
This program has been approved for 5 hours of CNE.
