What:
Community Health Fair with many free and low cost health screenings.
The following screenings have been scheduled but are subject to change.
We are still adding additional screenings so check back often for
updates!
Free Screenings:

Hearing
·
Vision
·
Dental
·
Bone Density
·
Balance – a screening to check for fall risks
·
Vital signs – includes pulse, respirations, blood pressure, pulse ox.
·
Height, weight and BMI checks.
·
Blood sugar test –a simple screening to check blood sugar levels that will help
determine whether an A1C test is needed to screen for diabetes
·
Carpal tunnel screening
·
Cholesterol screening
·
Carotid artery to screen for plaque in the arteries
·
EKG screening to check for heart irregularities
·
Colorectal blood screening (detecting fecal occult blood which may be indicative
of gastrointestinal disease)
·
Scoliosis screening to check for curvature of the spine
·
Varicose vein screening
·
Speech Therapist
·
Dietician to offer nutritional counseling
·
Advance Directives with notary available
·
Podiatry screening
Low Cost Screenings:
Please note that for the following laboratory screenings,
vouchers will be available for those who do not wish to have their blood drawn
during the health fair.
The vouchers will only be available at the health
fair and must be redeemed by 8-31-10.
Payment will be required at the time of service
(cash or check only during the health fair).
These lab fees are self-pay and no claims will be
filed with any insurance company.

A1C - $20 – Screening for diabetes.
Fasting is required for this test.
